This
week we approached our users with paper prototypes! Boy was it interesting…Our
concept as it stands now is far too complicated and it appears that not
everyone in our team is on the same page.
There seems to be that there is a lot happening in DIY Trove and the experience is not self-explanatory and users require a fair bit of direction.
There seems to be that there is a lot happening in DIY Trove and the experience is not self-explanatory and users require a fair bit of direction.
The main feedback we received was:
·
What
is a Trove Folk user and what benefits/experiences are they entitled to as
members?
·
What
are projects and how are they different from Rough Cuts?
·
The
navigation is clear but the purpose of some interactions is not easily
understood.
·
Do we
have a home page? When the user was informed that we don’t have one they asked
why? This is apparently a necessary element for users because the site
interactions are so complicated. The user explained that they needed this
element to regroup.
